Dr. Mike VanLangeveld is T.P.A. certified, passing the national board of examiners in optometry for the treatment and management of ocular disease. He performs difficult contact lens fittings and co-manages Lasik/PRK and cataract surgeries. He treats ocular diseases including corneal infections, pink-eye, dry eyes and conjunctivitis. He holds active licenses in Hawaii, California, and Virginia.
Dr. Mike grew up in Southern California and attended Cal. State University of Long Beach while working for a private optometrist. He was accepted to the Illinois College of Optometry and moved to the windy city of Chicago. His training included a rotation at the V.A. hospital in Huntington W.V.
He has been in private practice since 1993. Dr. Mike opened practice in Hawaii at JCPenny in the Ala Moana Shopping Center in 1995. In 2002 he moved his practice to Ward Warehouse opening his first InSpecs Eyewear. He has expanded InSpecs one-by-one, adding Pearlridge and then his military retail only location on Schofield.
He is married to his beautiful wife Linda and has three sons, Michael, Nathan, and Chase.

Dr.Tú-Anh Gopani, a Therapeutic Certified Optometrist, is a graduate of Illinois College of Optometry. She received her Bachelor Degree from Indiana University and started working in the optical industry both before and while in optometry school. She lived and worked in Hawaii for several years after optometry school but later moved to Columbia, SC to open a private practice with her husband. Their private practice, Eye Concepts, received the 2011 Best of Columbia Award in the Optometrists category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA) which recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.
Feeling the need to come back to Hawaii where they can enjoy the warmth year round, Dr. Gopani and her husband sold their thriving private practice and returned to Kapolei, HI. Having graduated from the same optometry school as Dr. Mike Vanlangeveld, she shares with him similar ideals and philosophies when it comes to eye health. She looks forward to being able to provide the best eye care to you and your family.
Dr. Gopani speaks fluent English and Vietnamese and knows some French. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, floral arrangement, and poetry writing.
